Monumental Soundbyte - 16

Def Leppard - Pour some sugar on me
I love, love this song. One of the few songs from the 80's that i actually dig.
Def Leppard was a british rock group that regined supreme in the 80's and if this is your first Def Leppard experience, then this is the ultimate song. The video for this song is sooo massive and i remember seeing it over and over again on MTV.
Curiously, the styling of this song is far ahead of its time. The lead singer Joe Elliot delivers his lyrics almost like he is rapping. I guess Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock didnt come up with that concept.
This song is monumental for its commercial success and is one of VH1's 100 greatest songs of all time. But its also monumental to me 'cos its a rock song by a heavy metal group that i love, it makes me slightly bug-eyed and i love the response i get when i play this. Sadly, a lot of people are genre constrained.....LOL....
Enjoy!

the stereotypical stripper song. Well this or "girls, girls, girls" by motley crue. I agree with you, this song is massive, and as an added bonus, there is no puffy remix in sight.
