Excited about........

A new place that has just opened on Ozumba Mbadiwe street on the Island called Jazz Sessions. Lovely place. I just came back from a viewing and sampling of sorts and its so amazing. A wide array of drinks - alcoholic & non alcoholic, great menu (from starters like asun & suya to elaboarate salads and seafood dishes - they even do a point and kill thing). Lovely desserts but the most important thing to me - the music. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, there is a live band. This friday its The Sharp Band and since i have seen them perform a few times, i can say they are amazing. The main sitting area of Jazz Sessions has a grand piano and i have been assured that anytime i get up the nerve to sing in public, i am welcome to do so.

The decor is classy and african. There is a dress code of sorts - no slutty dressing allowed (and for that i am thankful) and they have some private rooms available...

I am truly excited about this place just because i am not a clubber or a bar person. I love places where i can be in good company and be able to relax, listen to music and have a good time. And this place is one of them.

I AM NOT AFFILIATED TO THE OWNERS IN ANY WAY - so this is not a plug. I am simply sharing something that is exciting me. LOL....
