Monumental Soundbyte - 33

Boyz II Men - I'll make love to you
Is this a suprise? Massive song by a massive group. I had my very first slow dance to this song. And in an unconventional way too. I earphone in my ear and one in his. What can i say? We were young. LOL
Anyway, this song stormed into our lives in 1994 on the group's II album which also spawned the hits "On bended knee" and "Water runs dry". This beautiful song was written by Babyface (one of the most gifted songwriters of our generation) and went on to top the Billboard charts for 16 weeks i think. The group also won a Grammy for this effort.
So that's the trivia about this song. How about the memories that come along with this song? Almost everyone i know has an experience or a memory associated with this song. What's yours?

i could only sing it in whispers. i had a reputation to keep: squeaky clean kid.

my first and only slow dance, i think was to Whitney's "I'll always love you." I think I also attempted a lil' BnG too. I must have been 14 0r 15.

Definitely monumental.

Reminds me of rainy days in secondary school and people 'miming' it at Saturday night 'entertainment'.

I loved this song but my favourite song on this album was by far 'Water runs dry'!!! I stil get chills up my spine when I hear the opening notes to that song.

I had this on a tape that would play in the car, and when this song would come on, I would squirm while the driver made disapproving noises. This song and 'Last Night' by AZ Yet
