This family band (made of a father and his 4 kids) were predominantly a gospel group though their sound spread to R&B and Soul.
This song was released in 1972 and was was a number 1 hit in the United States but spent a total of 15 weeks on the charts. This song is also the most recognizable song from this group. I especially like this song because its a feel good, inspirational song guaranteed to make me feel good everytime i hear it.
