every practical argument u can think of argues that u shouldn't as a general rule. However love/relationships is not an intellectual thing. So I'm going to take the hedging answer that I would expect not to, but I can never rule it out.
Are you serious?. What a bunch of elitist snobs. erm.. Would it matter if the degree was gained as a matter of sleeping with the professor?. or as a matter of buying it like many people do? Since when did a degree equate common sense or even success... I know many foolish people with a degree...
Damn... I can't believe that there is an arguement about this...
Real-life example: I have an Uncle, he's a medical doctor in the UK. This guy married a WONDERFUL lady that had WAEC as her highest qualification before coming to the UK.
They've been together now for 6 years and he always finds something new to love her more as each day passes.
I guess it has to do wit maturity, a deep sense of purpose and a strong will. And this guy dated enough girls with intimidating credentials but never lasts more than a couple of month...u gat dat?!
Like my Dad would say, 'Passing Six is not Passing Sense'
LOL, I AM LAUGHING BEFORE EVEN THINKING OF WHAT I AM GOING TO WRITE. I don't see anything wrong with marrying a good person who is reliable. There are too many careers out there nowaday that provides an awesome living. Love is great as long as one is realistic and not making excuses for the partner.
Hmmm, this is a tough one. To be honest, because I have grown up in a family and in a culture where education is a big deal, it would definitely be something I would have to think about but ultimately, yes I would marry someone without a degree.
I know people with degrees who really shouldn't have bothered and others without degrees who are some of the most intelligent, fascinating people I've met.
I already have. I was fresh out of NYSC. We were about the same age. I loved him and it was never an issue. We did not hide the fact that he did not have a first degree from people- if anything, I could state it matter of factly and not feel inferior to anyone. I was proud of him through and through.
And now, I am even prouder- He just graduated with a first class-almost a perfect 4.0-(with special distinction) in Engineering.
Please tell the people in your office that if he should work there, they probably would call him sir! LOL!

HELL NO!! you can sue me later. I want to have similar backgrounds with him. What will we talk about? Hell NO!
Loving someone has a decision/choice quotient to it.
It really depends. My uncle had only a FSLC and talked better than a lot of people who went to the university.
There are people with degrees who I wouldn't want to be caught dead conversing with. In the end all I need is someone who understands me.
