I am about to shut down for the day when i check my email. There are some comments from my blog and then there is this one which frankly took my breath away:
wetin dey special about this chick sef? people just dey wan dash am things. this blog just dey boring. a waste of cyber space. abeg jare. which work you dey do sef because e b like say that one go good pass. also all them stupid things wey you dey write wey u dey call poetry - dem dey make me laugh. who sai? no make am career because na only these kiss ass people wey dey comment for ya blog go buy am and them go dey lie sef.which kind designer you get sef? no be you talk say you fat? wetin you need designer for? abeg shut down this nonsense waste of space
Can i ask what is going on in this whole world? This comment was posted on my random musings post and i have to wonder what it is about that innocous post that inspired such a comment. I really have no words

Something is definitely going on. First Buki, which was abominable, and now you. What truly irks me is that these people spinelessly comment anonymously. All the more reason why you should definitely brush it off. It's hard I know, because I feel like I want to say a lot more in very colorful language to whomever anonymous is and it wasn't written on my page. I may be overthinking this but there are people out there who do not want Naija bloggers to be heard in any way, shape or form regardless of what we discuss on our blogs for some reason or the other.....are we getting too powerful? Is that why? Whatever the case may be, I am bothered by this and wonder who the next target is. It is enough to make me think twice about how much of myself I put out there because as much as a blog is personal, as Olawunmi said, it is also public. It doesn't give anyone the right to tear into us so callously but unfortunately, characteristic of many Nigerians, instead of uplifting each other, we cannot help but step on each other. I'm sorry this happened girl but even more so, whomever anonymous is.....I AM SORRY FOR YOU. You shall find out why.

O my goodness, I don't really understand the broken english they wrote but I got the point. What the hell? As you can see we love your spot and if anyone one is relevant they will be opened as to who exactly they are. Don't acknowledge this foolishness any furhter pls it is not even worth it.
