Rumour?

The phones in my office are buzzing. People are calling friends and loved ones wondering where we are. Claims that a portion of the 3rd Mainland Bridge has collapsed. Its been raining heavily all day. I am hoping its just a rumour. Will keep this page updated.....

Uzo said...: So Channels Tv just flashed an alert stating that there is no truth to the rumour. Thanks Diamond. However, because of how quickly the rumour spread, something has to have sparked it. M still keeping my ears to the ground to find out what must have caused this. I mean even my dad in Kano called me with this story.

Uzo said...: @chxta: That bridge does need a lot of work and i am hoping that maybe this rumour will spur the federal govt to do something. Maybe not. It is a federal bridge and there is a tug of war between the federal govt and lagos state over works. Maybe Tinubu will undertake the project and get the federal govt to promise to payback which i understand happens quite a bit but the federal govt is not so good at repaying....; Wed Oct 11, 09:55:00 AM
