Bob Marley -No Woman, No Cry

No doubt...LOL

Okay, i admit that i love this song but while doing some research on this song, i discovered a little known fact that makes me love the song and Bob Marley even more.

The song writing credits are given to someone called Vincent Ford. Now experts more or less agree that the song was written by Bob Marley....V Ford was a friend of Bob Marley and he ran a soup kitchen in Trenchtown where Bob Marley grew up. By virtue of being credited with this song, V Ford receives all royalty cheques which have ensured the continous running of the soup kitchen.

And that is why this song is extra special. Enjoy!

what a magnanimous thing to do.
I visited bob marley's house in Jamaica and was amazed at how simply he lived. He had a little itchenette off his room where he woke up and made his own fresh fruit juices every morning.
He seemed such a simple man.
